April 18, 2006 the GLC at the Forrest Hills Presbyterian Church in Cascade, MI.
The weather is warming up and the daylight is lasting longer now. I had hooked my digital camera to a tv and with it's video function on the chorus was able to see some of it's choreography live as we practiced. It was decided to drop the 'eagel' type sway move since a smaller chorus didn't seem to capture the effect as well. One more rehearsal and then April 29th Saturday it's drive to Kalamazoo for the Pioneer District Spring Convention Competition. I'm desperatly trying to get the day off from work but so far no luck.
We had a guest this night, Joel Mills (on right) a past competition sound judge. He said we sounded "Great" (he wouldn't elaborate:)
One of our co-directors, Dave Miller won the raffle to draw for a possible winning marble (sorry dave, another green loser marble).
